Liposuction Better For Your Health Than Believed Great News For Consumers!

And, what are the five most-asked questions about liposuction?

Before we answer that, there is new, terrific research that suggests liposuction, for all its cosmetic benefits, may also have significant health benefits. A study presented last month at the American Society of Plastic Surgeons annual conference, revealed for the first time that liposuction patients experience a reduction in triglyceride levels and white blood cell counts, possibly decreasing their risk for heart disease, stroke, and diabetes. “High triglyceride levels are known to be associated with an increased risk of cardiovascular disease,” said Eric Swanson, MD, ASPS Member Surgeon and study author. “The decrease in these levels after liposuction was surprisingly dramatic, and revealed that the permanent removal of excess fat cells by liposuction has a major impact on circulating levels of triglycerides.”

Thanks Dr. Swanson.

We here at Tickle Lipo are tickled – because, our liposuction technology is being used by more and more doctors – and considered the best by many for performing liposuction. Younger and older, female and males – from all walks of life: from all over the country and internationally. Patients see the liposuction experience as being “better” because their doctors are using Tickle Lipo.

Dr. Briant Herzog of Plano, TX performs liposuction regularly – and has been doing so for over a decade. A few years ago, he was looking for the kind of technology that would make his job easier, but more important, could make his patients feel much more comfortable. “One of the great things about this technology is its versatility. You have large people come in and they need debulking. You have others that come for specific trouble areas and need body contouring. Tickle Lipo is very fast and efficient.” Dr. Briant says the Tickle Lipo technology skips a second step in liposuction, which makes it a great choice over the many Vaser/laser technologies being offered to cosmetic/plastic surgeons.”It’s just a better way to do liposuction. You avoid heat damage that can be caused by a laser and it’s quicker.” Other doctors sum up the technology by saying it’s quicker with little patient discomfort.

Medical Alliance Services CEO Paul Herchman says – there’s an exciting “next step” – from fat collected from a Tickle Lipo patient – because it’s so well processed – and can be stored for later usage. One instance, fat can be used for filler where aging has caused a loss in volume in the face.  Another application is stem cell banking facility with a company such as BioLife cell bank.  This can be used as an insurance policy in the future. “There’s so much work that’s underway using a patient’s own stem cells from their own fat –  to treat many medical conditions” says Herchman.

According to the ASPS, more than 203,000 liposuction procedures were performed in 2010 in the United States. Liposuction is the fourth most popular cosmetic surgical procedure. And, more and more liposuctions each year are being performed with Tickle Lipo.
